BESt students vote for school parliament Election

The students of BES English medium school experienced and enjoyed the election process. To establish the student council we explained the election process through this activity. All the students right from 5th to 10th were divided into six constituencies. Candidates belonging to four houses contested elections under the leadership of their house leaders. We introduced the option of NOTA and independent candidates in the ballot papers. Democracy, election commission, political parties, voting, candidature, opposition party, campaigning, free and fair election, coalition govt. etc concepts were also explained to the students. Learning through activity objectives has been fulfilled. Mr. R.T. Hire, chief coordinator of the activity planned meticulously. Teachers Sunil Thorat and Amol Sonawane contributed to making this activity interesting. The principal congratulated teachers and students.
