Ashadi Ekadashi was celebrated on Saturday (Dec. 9) at Baglan Education Society's Best English Medium School by organizing various cultural programs. The program started with the worship of  lord Vitthal by Mr. S. G. Nikam  Headmaster of  the school, Assistant Headmistress Mrs.J.P.Gunjal , School Development Officer N. S.Sonawane ,Co-ordinator  Mrs.N.D.Parchure  and Assistant Co-ordinator Mrs.M.B.Shinde .At this time a beautiful Dindi ceremony was celebrated in the school yard with cheers of  Gyanoba Mauli. The  students in the costumes of  Vitthal-Rakhumai and Warakari’s participated in this ceremony. The biggest attraction of this ceremony was the arena ceremony. In this ceremony the students and the teachers expressed their happiness by playing  fugadi. The students participated with saffron flag and  with Tulsi Vrindavan on their heads. At this time the students performed bhanjans. All the students were guided by music teachers Dadaji Jadhav, Sheetal Bachhav and all the teachers.
